  Eligibility  

• The candidates are required to be females, above 15 years in order to apply.
• The candidates could be under-educated, under-qualified, widows, single and separated women.
• The candidates could also be drop outs.
• The candidates could be handicapped or challenged.
• The candidates could be foreigners as well in order to apply.

• The fees ( like Polytechnic Timings for Students) are exactly the same, for all Courses and in all Departments.
• All Fees are to be paid by Cash / Bank Draft / Local Cheque only. Upon the dishonour of any Cheque, by the bank, for any reason whatsoever, Penalty / Bank charges will be levied.
• Cheques or Drafts should be made for ‘South Delhi Polytechnic for Women’ and be payable at Delhi / New Delhi.
  
  
• No amount whatsoever(including Fees) shall be refunded by the Polytechnic, regardless of whether a Student joins/does not join / secures Admission / continues / discontinues, during the Term.
• The First-Term Fees shall be paid at the time of Admissions.
• The Second-Term Fees shall be paid in the first week of September.
• The Third-Term Fees shall be paid in the first week of December.
• The Fourth-Term Fees shall be paid in first week of February.
• All Fees quoted in the Polytechnic Prospectus, are related to One Academic Year only.
• The Polytechnic reserves the right, to revise the Fees structure and rules of Admission, at its discretion.
• Students are required to keep the Receipts for all payments, made to the Polytechnic. They may have to produce the same, as and when required. For all the fresh batch of 2nd Yr,3rd Yr & 4th Yr of Students, the First Term Fees must be paid by the 15th of May, each year.
• Polytechnic Fees must be paid within the prescribed period, mentioned above. The office shall not send any intimation, in this respect. Defaulters will have to pay a fine up to ten days. Thereafter, their names shall be struck off the rolls. Re-admission Fee of Rs.2000 / -will be charged from the Students, who want to rejoin after the 7 days grace period

  Points to Remember  

• Admissions are subject to availability of seats.
• Any student is eligible to a Course, if she is female and above fifteen years old.
• Timings and Fee Structure are the same for all COURSES.
  (Therefore you have to see your interest and future destination!)
• Fees have to be deposited four times Term-wise, within one academic year.
• Polytechnic timings for Students are: 8.30 a.m. to 12.15 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• The Polytechnic shall open for the New Session on : 25th of July for New Students & 29th of July for Senior Students.
• The Hostel shall open for New Students on 24th of July and Senior Students on 28th of July.
• The Admission form you submit, must be attached with five things! (Please see the above box.)
• Metro Trains and Chartered Buses are available, from all parts of Delhi and Neighbouring Areas.
• Career Counselling for Courses are available throughout the Year.
